Small Groups
If you are interested in becoming involved in a small group please let us know. We have groups meeting both in homes as well as the church. Here’s a little bit about our present small groups.
Sunday Evening Prayer Group – Meets at the church at 6:00 PM and is led by our head elder David Hillaker and his wife. This group meets for a time of fellowship, Bible Study and focused prayer both for local needs as well as needs around the world. If you are looking for a group that focuses on prayer this is the one for you.
Home Fellowship – Meets in the home of Pastor Dave and Jennifer Monreal. This topical group studies various topics and themes. Presently they are beginning a study on the life of Joseph. This group also meets on Sunday night from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. If you are looking for a study that isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions (and sometimes go off on an interesting rabbit trail) this is the group for you.
Monday Morning Ladies Bible Study – This group has met for years and is presently led by a local Pastor’s wife, Velma Wells. This study combines in depth analysis of God’s word with rich fellowship and times of prayer. If you are a lady looking for some close intimate fellowship we encourage you to join. This group meets at the church at 9:00 AM.
Men’s Saturday Morning Bible Study and Breakfast – This group, large or small, meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 AM at the church for a time of inductive Bible Study and prayer followed by an informal breakfast at a local restaurant. We have covered topics including the Book of Revelation and the Sermon on the Mount. Presently we are studying the life lessons from the book of Proverbs. If you are looking for a class that will answer your questions we want you to join us each week!
